Ski-Doo Freestyle?

I'm looking at buying a ski-doo freestyle with the 300 rotex engine in it. I will be riding on groomed trails, but will have to go through powder to get to the trail. I'm just curious about the handling, speed, and hill climbing ability of this snowmobile with only the 300cc motor. Also, because of the narrow ski stance, it looks a little unstable. Is this true? Thanks.Ski-Doo Freestyle?
The freestyle is not made to go through a lot of powder and to hill climb. The lugs on the track are not that big and are made for trail riding. Like the other guy I would go with the bigger engine if you are worried about the power. The unstable part will all depend on your size and riding ability. The more you ride the more stable it will become and the better you are the easier it will turn and still be able to pop up. Demo the sled before you spend the money on it.Ski-Doo Freestyle?
If your worried about the power, consider the Freestyle Park, or the Freestyle Backcountry. Both have the 550cc engine, more power, and will be better to get you through the powder. Also its nice to have the extra power when you need it. It will be nice for hill climbing with the bigger engine. As far as the narrow ski stance, it will be easier to carve turns and jump, plus throw around. If you can before you buy I would demo the sled. Good Luck.
