First I would just remove the spark plugs and see if it will turn over. This would tell if you have a weak starter or battery. Next I would look under the ski to make sure no debris was drawn into the pump through the pump inlet. The last thing I would try is to turn the drive shaft coming out of the engine by hand with the plugs still out. It should turn fairly easily with the plugs out.If it turns under any of these conditions I would then start looking at the electrical system to determine if there is any corroded wiring especially where the ground is attached to the engine from the battery.
