Whats the difference between a sea doo and a jet ski?

or are they the same thing?

and also whats the cheapest i can get one??

thanks!Whats the difference between a sea doo and a jet ski?
Jet ski refers to a water vehicle as a group, where as Sea Doo is a maker. Although they are referred to as Jet-Skis, typical Sea Doos are considered Personal Water Crafts (PWC) which you sit down on and ride. They come from single to triple seaters and they also made small PWC-like boats for more passengers. A Jet-Ski is usually a craft you stand up on and the whole steering column pivots up and down. The price all depends on what style you want, how old it is, and where you are buying it. A decent 3 seated Sea-Doo will run you around 6-8k where as a decent Jet ski can be much less. The difference is which "Name" stuck. Jet Ski is the name that was coined by Kawasaki back in '73, and is a "Trademark" term for Kawasaki's PWC. Much like people saying "Kleenex" for facial tissue, it's a name that stuck. Sea Doo is a PWC made by Bombardier a Canadian company, and it too, is a "Trademark" name for that company. Yamaha has their "Trademark" name with Waverunner. Everything else is a PWC or a "Wet Bike". However, Jet Ski stuck to the PWC industry for reference to the crafts by the general public.

As far as getting the "Cheapest" you'll need to look around. You don't mention a budget or if you want a New or Used one.Whats the difference between a sea doo and a jet ski?
The difference is the same as the difference between a Kleenex and a Tissue, One is a brand name.
