Can you dress formal to pf changs?

my boyfriend is taking me to pf changs and im a vegan so he chose pf changs because he knows that they have a vegan friendly menu. he bought me a dress a couple weeks ago its gray with black soft florals im going to wear a blak belt with it to show off my curves for him and i was thinking to wear it with my black wedges with my hair up in a formal pony tail. i have alot of layers in my hair because i have a scene hairstyle. and for him i dont relly know if hell wear his black dress pants but if not i was hoping he wears his dark blue jeans itallian black shoes and a soft lavender or blue shirt and a express belt. so my question is if we can wear this without looking over dressed...|||I love PF Chang's. The atmosphere there is casual but great for an evening out dinner.
