No, this isn't too small for you. It will not be a fast sled however. With the long track and the small motor this will top out around 55mph. Max... I'd prefer at least the 500 fan cooled myself. My current Ski Doo has the 583 liquid and gets moving much faster.

Warranties are important. Look at what the warranty covers, the length and how often you will use the machine. Is an extended warranty available at a reasonable cost? If it's a factory extended warranty and you plan to use the machine alot, it may be a good investment. Just remember, accidents and abuse are not covered.

First of all I think the last year the MX Zx 440 was made as 2003, but I could be mistaken. Anyways I would say that the price is a little bit high, but I'm sure they would be willing to come down with negotiations! Off the top of my head I would value it at 3500-4000, but that all depends on the condition and wear and tear.

I think most snowmobiles are 20:1. The oldest sled I ever messed with was a 1974 Scorpion Super Stinger II.

I picked up a 1973 ski-doo 440sl twin and i need to find a parts diagram or catalog that i can find out what part number is what. it needs to have an exploded view of the engine and wiring diagrams.

I have added V-force reeds and high performance can, the sled has 2.500 mi. Good compression, new clutch springs, and a studed track. Hey, I am in the same process with a 97. Both my pistons are torched Mine has 6700 miles. I am just going with new pistons and rings along with getting it professionally honed .5 mm oversize. Unless you know for sure you have a seal problem I would leave the bottom end alone.

I don't believe that there is a aftermarket starter made. I was looking for a starter for mine and all i could ever find was OEM. Try ebay and some of the snowmobile parts forums. you could also check some snowmobile junkyards. A new starter system brand new is around $500 anyways. good luckyamaha outboards

Try a junk pile, but Tillotston carbs and the similar diaphragm type carbs are not ideal. You'll be having to replace the diaphragm often, and when the fuel mixture goes lean as it's stops supplying enough fuel, you'll destroy your motor (bearing will go dry and you could melt your piston(s)).
You're best off upgrading to a Mikuni carb (slide type and float bowl) and use an external fuel pump. Far more reliable for old sleds.

Any snowmobile shop, parts supply, or pick up a snowmobile magazine and check the ads toward the back, look for riser kits, they should bolt right on. The only problem you may encounter is the wires for the heated grips run inside the stock bars and if you raise them alot the wire may have to be extended.

You push the belt down with a finger near the middle. Measure from that point to where that point of the belt is when you release pressure with your finger.

Is there a way to bypass the battery/starter. Is it a bad voltage regulator, or do I need a relay or something? You need to put battery back in seeing that is what supplies voltage to headlight,your alt. charges battery and with none you're overpowering electrics, next to go bad, ignition system.

Does anyone know any thing about snowmobiles. I have a 98 ski-doo formulalll and my gas guage dont work?
Its a pretty easy setup. Its just a float with a rod that attaches to the gauge itself. You might have been riding it hard or it just got bumped to hard and it detached somewhere. It would be easy to fix if you could find a way to get at it. I really don't know much about getting into a gas tank tho.

The needle valve in the carburetor is allowing gas to seep into the crank case while it's just sitting there and as soon as you pull the start cord, all the gas gets sucked into the piston/cylinder.

hi there,,, Mr Knowitall is correct. you need to rebuild your carb.
Whats happening is the float is stiking down thus allowing the float bowl to flood... Its an easy job. Go to the local boat store and get a carb rebuild kit. You will get the needle and all the gaskets for the carb.
You take it off carefully take it apart... clean the bowl, the jets ( the needles with carb cleaner. Check the float to make sure it isnt gas logged .. that is full of gasoline so it wont float. then check the needle. which is held in by the float. suirt carb cleaner through all the needle seats and then if you can clean with compressed air... ( one of those used to clean a computer will do. then reassemble and put it back on the engine make sure you have replaced the gaskets with the ones that come with the carb kit... You can leave it to soak over night in the carb cleaner if you want to before you put it back together and back on...
you will have to reset the needles to get it to idle but its not difficult.. buy the workshop manual for your motor and you will find it a breeze...
If you want to tru a quick fix that might work... squirt WD40 into the carb start the motor and see if that works... also .. take off the fuel line and squirt wd40 into the carb that way....
You could squirt carb cleaner into the carb before you take it off and run to see if it removes the needle blockage. Some mechanics dont recomend this as the carb cleaner will strip the oil off the cylinder walls.
I have done this but befor i started the engine I quirted premix into the cylinders and into the carb too.

I went to the bank today. A rude 20's something valley girl cut in front of me in line. She was chatting loudly on her cell phone. I told her, excuse me, but there is a line here. She responded, well, you were just standing there off to the side... I said, well, if you weren't on your cell phone, you might be paying more attention. Then it was a verbal war. The 50's something vs the 20's something. She then proceeded to give her complete credit card number loudly over the cell phone to a merchant she was talking to. I then said in a loud voice...hey did you hear that...she's giving us all her credit card information! I told her she was an idiot and finished my banking. Why do people on cell phones think the public cares to listen to their affairs of what they are having for dinner, who's picking up the kids, who sleeping with who, and hello...can you hear me...hello?Are you tired of listening to people talk on their cell phones in public?

What I can't stand is people who talk on their phones while they're checking out at the grocery store or wherever else they are buying something. It's rude and they completely ignore the cashier. If my phone rings, I just don't answer it until I'm out of the store. If I happen to be on the phone while approaching the register, I'll tell the person I gotta go. It's all just common sense, but it's not so common. And I'm 24, but I always remember my dad talking about common sense and knowing how and when to use it. Common sense, common courtesy, etc. Some people just don't have it.

Is there a word for this type of literary device?
In writing, the author may evoke sensory images (i.e., allude to one of the five senses) BUT instead of categorizing it as what it would usually be, he uses a different sense to describe it?
For example: "my eyes feel tired" instead of what one would usually associate with eyes, i.e., "sight" like "my eyes see you"
or if one were to be more poetic -- "my eye shall be the stream and watery deathbed for him" (from Merchant of Venice) which evokes FEELING and maybe even SOUND.
I know there is a word for this in Japanese, but I can't recall it for the life of me. Does English have such a term?Is there a word for this type of literary device?

What's a good name for this? Please read, it's not long I swear!!?
I just finished writing my one-shot fan fiction on Leon and Ashley from Resident Evil 4 but I have no idea what to title it. Can you read it and tell me what you think? It's not that long. And if you haven't played this game before, please don't ask what it's about... it's VERY hard to explain and I'm running out of 'characters' Okay so please read it and let me know what you think I should name this!
Ashley and Leon ran for their lives down a hallway that never seemed to end. The frightening voices of several monks could be heard behind them.
“Quick, Ashley! In there!” Leon shouted, as he spotted an unpromising door.
Desperate for anyway to escape, Ashley quickly obliged and ran into the lightless room after Leon.
“Thanks goodness,” Ashley said after helping Leon board up the door. “I thought we would never escape.”
“Well, we’re not quite there yet.” He was out of breath. It’s not easy constantly running from people –are they even considered people?- who are striven to kill you. Leon had run out of ammo about an hour ago and was forced to use only his knife. Where was that creepy, yet surprisingly helpful, merchant when you needed him?
Ashley sat quietly thinking to herself. She couldn’t help but think that she was nothing but a bother to Leon. This whole time he had been shooting zombie’s heads off trying to save their lives, while she just stood around acting helpless. He never spoke to her unless he was telling her to stay where she was while he ran off and did something productive, and when he did, he sounded annoyed or mad at her. Maybe it was just the stress getting to her head, but she actually believed that Leon only thought of her as a hindrance.
“Leon… Wh... Why do you hate me?” Ashley asked quietly, unsure if Leon had heard her. Actually, she wasn’t even sure if she had heard herself.
Leon was taken aback by her words. At first he wasn’t sure he’d heard her correctly, because she had spoken so quietly, but once he had finally registered what she was asking he didn’t know how to respond.
“What do you mean? I don’t hate you.” He answered, trying his best not to sound as confused as he actually was.
“Yes you do…” She said, not looking at him, afraid he would see her tears. “This whole time I have been nothing but a burden to you. I keep getting captured by these… things and you have to come rescue me over and over again. I’m slowing us down and you know it. So, I would completely understand if you left me here…” She didn’t have enough energy to wipe her tears; they had been running all day and only stopped to eat food once.
Leon’s heart wrenched as he looked at her bowed head, her streaming tears and trembling shoulders. He walked over to where she was sitting and knelt down in front of her. “Ashley, look at me.” When she didn’t he gently cupped her chin, tilting her head up. When her gaze met his he noticed the tears on her cheeks and wiped them away with his thumb. “Ashley, I don’t hate you, okay? Nothing on this planet could ever make me hate you. It’s not your fault they keep coming after you, they’ve been infected. The parasite is controlling their bodies and making them chase us. And even if you did give in and let them carry you away, I wouldn’t hate you for it. You’re tired, we both are. Do you know how many times I’ve wanted to just say ‘screw it’ and give up?” She shook her head. “Well a lot. But you wanna know why I didn’t? Because I knew I had to get you home safe. And I’m not giving up until we’re both home, where we belong.”
“You’re just saying that because it’s your job. You only came because my father paid you.” She looked away from him again.
“Well, at first, yes.” He said honestly. “But then I met you and it became much more than that.”
She looked up at him in pure astonishment. Had he really meant what he said? They kept looking at each other, neither one of them dropping their gaze. Slowly she looked down at his lips: they were dry, cracked, and yet still so inviting. She absentmindedly licked her lips while starting at his, this going unnoticed by the attractive man next to her. He grinned at this before slowly leaning towards Ashley, whose heart was pounding. Leon slightly parted his lips while slowly moving his hand behind her neck. Just as their lips were about to meet, they heard eerie chanting coming from outside of the room.
Oh come on! Ashley thought as they were so rudely interrupted.
Leon sighed, standing up. He offered his gloved hand to the girl sitting in front of him and she gratefully accepted it. He pulled her to her feet and she took her usual stance behind him, readying herself for the zealots they were about to encounter.
With one last look behind him, he smiled at her, flashing a mouthful of perfectly straight, pearly white teeth. She could’ve been wrong, but she was almost positive that was the first time she’d seen him smile like that.

Im intrigued, very well written, the use of metaphor is as far as i can tell correct and appropriately dispersed, it doesnt matter whether it rhymes or not poetry is about structure, use of words and description, writing style and meaning, here take a look see if yours fits in

Im intrigued, very well written, the use of metaphor is as far as i can tell correct and appropriately dispersed, it doesnt matter whether it rhymes or not poetry is about structure, use of words and description, writing style and meaning, here take a look see if yours fits in
Mermaids do exist, i just so happened to have found out!
For I have to admit that for many years of my Life I to refuse to believe that such creatures existed.... Until one day someone handed me a research paper that they had done on the subject of merpeople... Now after reading that research paper of my fellow college student I found myself wanting more and more information on this subject.. And that is how my research on merpeople started.... First off I started reading some ancient writting by the Egyptians, Greeks, Romans and Persians and several other ancient sea farring Groups of people... And the stories they tell about merpeople told wme why shuch a great hatred exist even unto this day between deepsea fishermen and sailors and merpeople... And in the last year there have been over 20 reports from America, and several other countries that talk about their deep-sea fishermen catching and killing merpeople caught in their deep-sea fishing-nets.... And when they were interviewed as to why did they kill that merperson, They are reported to be seeking revenge from a earlier incident that happen to one of their crewmen that was taken by a merperson after falling over board for one reason or another.... Then I decided to do some research by visting other countries and see what information that they would release to an outsider... And they were kind enough to release information dating back some 200 years.. And it cost me several hundred dollards getting this information translated by a couple of government translater but after reading this information I found that it was well worth the money that I spent...... Then having this new found information and coming back to America I stumbled across someone that gave me information that existed on the freedom of information act.. And the information I gather from that blew me out of my seat... I found information from Sailors and fishermen from WW-I and WW-II and the merchant marines that had their ship sunk by enemy action.. And I even found some Information that talked about the Trans-Atlantic- Crossing during the slave trade period that was truly amazing... Now in WW-I there are tons of stories about ships being sunk by enemy fire By American, French, And German and a few other that told stories about survivors fight off merpeople to save injured Sailor from being taken by merpeople%26gt; And I have stories that say that merpeople were just as bad as the shark attacks that these sailor fought off.. And in WW-II there were even stories by sailor that stated under oath that merpeople were just as bad as Shark when it came to takeing their men.... Now I don't expect one person to take my word as truth... But this informmation is there for any American or anyone else that can get into the freedom of informat file by just a few clicks on their computers.... And I know that many will call me a Numb-Nut... BUt these are the sams people that will just sit on their butts and not do I second of research on their own... But they will just sit ther and say how crazy And say how crazy a person is.. And I could care less.. And I am really sick and tired of those that want you to do all their work for them.. And are just to lazy to press a few keys.... But if there is one person out that does just an half an hour of work you will be totally suprise at the wealth of information that is out there that tells you the truth about merpeople...............................鈥?br>

i am a paranormal researcher and investigator, And yes I do believe in the existences of spirits.... As for ufo's I witness one landing in AZ.. I did not see aliens leave the ship for when one of us stood up that ship took off quicker then a lightening strike... And nothing that we have on this earth could come close to matching that flying disk speed.....Mermaids do exist, i just so happened to have found out!

I would suggest that if you don't want to write a book about your research and experiences, that you start by blogging about them - there are several sites where you can set up a blog free of charge. This is not really the appropriate forum to be posting all of this. If you attract a ton of readers at a blog on these paranormal and mysterious subjects, that would also be a good indication of how a book might do.
However, I would suggest a bit of editing if you decide to write, because the way you're rambling on here - you do come across as sounding a bit crazy - it's not just because of the subject matter, it's how you are presenting it. If you were rambling on like this about your last trip to the grocery store, with improper grammar and punctuation and incomplete sentences, half thoughts, etc. - it would still be hard to read and accept.
And lastly - the hot topic around here lately isn't really a debate about whether mermaids exist (or ever existed) or not - the thing is that a bunch of kids who watch the fictional television show "H2O: Just Add Water" are convinced that they can use magic to turn themselves into mermaids. Which I am still going to say is impossible.

Seriously, if we could turn ourselves into a different species, why aren't more people doing so? I honestly don't have a problem with kids believing that mythical creatures are or once were real and imagining what it would like to be one - but their inability to separate reality from fiction/imagination, their belief that everything they see on a fictional television show is a real possibility - this concerns me about the mental state of today's teens, as well as what's happening with our educational system these days.

I grew up and stayed to this day in the same region : la Provence. Even if I would have liked to move and to do big travels during my childhood, my imagination is all the bigger. I aspire to an endless freedom, complete independence.
When I was a child, I wanted to become an astronaut, then apple merchant, painter, politician, writer. In 2009, I鈥檓 studying medicine in Marseilles. I divide my time among the hospital, courses, student job ; books, movies, music ; flamenco, windsurf and climbing ; parties with friends, my family and trips.
In June I鈥檓 going to south America for 3 months. Until then I would like to go in Morocco and Quebec, and after then to visit my sister in Shanghai.

its cute, but i think u could find a much better hello kitty phone for that price. what u should do is find a phone that u really like. features wise. like, the touch and slide top. all that stuff. then u can get it customized. color and desktop and settings. it will be exactly the way u want it, plus it will most likely be cheaper. the phone is really cute, but the qualitl of the buttons, like the # keys, do not have good quality.

Ok, so first of all, on the technology end...you have to be careful because, while it has all of the extra bells and whistles that we want in a cell phone it doesn't look like it works on the 850 frequency. In the US, cell phone service runs on 850 and 1900....now, this isn't one of those things where you can say "Oh well, I will just run on the 1900." Often times, when talking and traveling you are switching back and forth between 850 and 1900 without even knowing it...this allows you to mainatin a phone conversation as well as make phone calls from INDOORS! This latter tidbit is something that comes from personal experience. Most write-ups won't tell you that it is difficult to connect from the center of a building on a single band phone or a tri-band phone that only has 1900, but from a girl that has tried the world phones (tri and quadband) time and time again I will tell you, it is the biggest headache! I now have a dual band that works much (100x's) better.
As far as the phone cosmetically, I don't think fun outweighs functionality. You will quickly come to hate the phone if it drops calls or you can't get service....so I suggest either finding a hello kitty phone that has the appropriate frequencies or perhaps purchasing a pink phone with the appropriate frequencies and some neat hello kitty accessories--that way you can personalize the phone and have one that is totally unique and totally you!

Can anybody remember a bike similar to the 70`s Raleigh Chopper bicycle?
Many moons ago when i was a brat, my dad was in the Norwegian merchant navy as a Deck-hand and my uncle Axel was a boson. My dad and my uncle Axle brought home two bikes
for my cousin and myself that were very similar to the British "Chopper" bike but well before the Chopper hit the market. They were yellow and i`m sure they had the name "Dragster" The front tyre was fatter than the chopper and the seat back rest bar was not quite as high, if my memory is correct. I remember my cuz was about 2 yrs older than me, and he could ride his bike OK but my grandpa had to strap wooden blocks to the peddles even with the seat at its lowest point so my feet could reach! But even though our bikes were not Choppers, they were the envy of the local Bandits and Axel`s was stolen from the school shed. I remember when Axel spotted some kid on it on the way home and we followed him on my bike. Me ,hanging on for dear life. Axel, trying to get his enormous feet to stay on the wooden peddle blocks, and screams of sheer terror from yours truly as we went down Huntington hill! my butty box and rucksack left a trail of Banana skins, P.E kit and unwanted math homework And then we crashed! .But! we. meaning Axel.Caught him trying to escape in his back yard.Guess who got thrown over the wall and bitten by a Tyrannosaurus chocolate Labrador ? Anywho! Sorry for getting carried away. Can anyone remember this bike?
I also remember a brilliant toy gun called " Johnny seven" and a huge green Tank that was operated by a walkie talkie from a wire to the tank.This tank was huge, even by today's standards, and had proper rubber tracks. It was able to climb a HUGE compost heap,and chase any invading ducks, puppies,kittens,or sisters away from your territory ( if you could get it off dad!) I would love to know any thing about these toys !Can anybody remember a bike similar to the 70`s Raleigh Chopper bicycle?
There was a smaller version of the "Chopper" called the "Chipper" for smaller/younger kids with a smaller frame and no gears. The latest incarnation of the Chopper has handgrip gear change so the "gentleman vegetables" are not damaged as you slide forward off the saddle! I've seen one with a 250cc engine!
The Johnny Seven is still available from a guy on ebay who has a mnassive stock of pre-owned ones that he repairs and reassembles.
Don't recall the tank, but a mate had a huge warship (with wheels) that trundled around firing sucker tipped darts from the turrets at his dog.

I'm in AP Euro this year, and I don't mean to complain, but it's too hard! I just don't have time to do all the work. Right now I have to go to basketball until nine o' clock tonight and I still have algebra 2 homework and english homework to do when I get home and I don't want to go to sleep too late because I have basketball tomorrow too and I don't want to be tired!!! 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Oil Pressure Gauge Problem?
My 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee is a V8 converted to 2WD. It's not by any means a new vehicle and has had its share of problems. I've replaced the axles, various sensors, the tires, and other small parts. Recently the problems have included the Oil Pressure gauge falling to "zero" and the "Check Gauges" light comes on along with the beep. The Jeep has 163k+ miles and the previous owner did not take perfect care of it. I've been keeping up with oil changes, routine maintenance, etc. My first thought when the light came on was to check my oil to make sure I had enough, I took the dipstick out and it was well coated in it. As far as I know that's an ok way to check your oil level. The HUD keeps popping up with "Coolant Sensor Bad", could this be related or is it just bad timing to get hit with both? I need this vehicle to last as long as possible and I do not have much money so I need to know if there is anything I can do to fix it. I bought some oil, a funnel, an oil filter, and a coolant sensor so I could try to fix it. If anyone knows what could cause all these problems please let me know. What's the best wireless headphone I should get?
I recently acquired a 3rd shift job. I live with 4 other people who work during the day. I get home between 2am - 5am every morning. I'm not ready to go to bed right away. I just got a new video game I'd like to enjoy and I listen to lots of stuff on my computer, and I'm tired of trying to be quiet while everyone is asleep. If you have knowledge or experience on wireless headphones please share your story. I'd like to be able to plug it in to the sound system we have when I play on the PS3, (probably the bigger jack), and then be able to switch to the headphone jack on my computer.
